Knights of Columbus and family members from around the world were joined by bishops, priests, religious sisters and special guests gathered in Washington, DC for the 143rd Supreme Convention August 5 to 7. Pope Leo’s Message to Knights of Columbus - August 2025
As the 143rd Supreme Convention kicks off in Washington, D.C., the Knights have received a special video greeting from His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The Holy Father’s special message is the first papal video greeting to the Supreme Convention in 35 years. In his address, the Holy Father commended the Knights’ efforts to bring fraternity and charity to their local communities. JM Drama Presents HARVEY A live theatrical show performs for the first time since pre-Covid. With close ties to the Kitchener Knights, some members/spouses of 1504 are involved in the show. JM Drama (formerly St Jerome’s St Mary’s Drama Alumni) has been running rehearsals in the JNM Columbus Centre for the past few months. The Most Eminent and Most Reverend Lord Robert Francis Prevost
Robert Francis Prevost, 69, will be the 267th occupant of the throne of St Peter and he will be known as Leo XIV and is the first American to fill the role of pope Born in Chicago in 1955 to parents of Spanish and Franco-Italian descent, Prevost served as an altar boy and was ordained in 1982.
