After almost four years as Chaplain to Council 1504, Father Peter Meyer has been appointed the new pastor of Holy Rosary Parish in Milton. Unaware of his tribute, many K of C members and fellow clergy feted a surprised Father Peter at a bar-b-que steak dinner held at K of C House. Grand Knight Brian Schmalz presented Father with a plaque and K of C chasuble and stole. Following the presentation, Father Peter thanked the members for their support and encouraged the Knights to continue their successful charitable works. Responding to Father’s request, several members offered their reasons why they became Knights of Columbus. During his short time with us, Father Peter always motivated the membership with his timely addresses. A memorable evening concluded with Brian thanking several K of C members who were instrumental in preparing and serving the dinner.
