The Supreme Convention of the Knights of Columbus was of a special occasion for several local member Knights.
With over 3000 in attendance accompanied by 50 Bishops and 10 Cardinals, several member Knights from the Hamilton North zone including District Deputy and Regional Membership Chairman Mike Szabo.
Mike was delegated to represent the Hamilton North Zone Diocese.

Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly encouraged Knights to return home prepared to bring the Order to new heights, especially with recruiting young men. “The secret to our success over the last 140 years has been to be close to the Church and to be close to our faith,” Supreme Knight Kelly said. “That’s why I think young men are joining the Knights in such high numbers. They see in something in the Knights that they want.

In his closing remarks, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly encouraged Knights: “What we offer is a life of meaning and mission for so many men,” he continued. “There’s nothing more powerful than a man who has a real sense of mission — that the Lord has made him for a certain purpose. The Knights of Columbus offers that to them.”
