Bon Voyage Brother Chris

by Gary Megaffin

A perfect day welcomed many Council 1504 members, their family and friends at the K of C Open House on Saturday August 11, as they feted Brother Chis Pugh. In town on a short visit, Chris is about to venture west to Edmonton where he will enter the seminary on his journey to become a member of the diocesan priesthood. After completing his PHD a year ago, Brother Chris Pugh left the Council to take a position as a teacher at Brandon University. During that time, Chris decided to enter the seminary in Edmonton. While a member of Council 1504, Chris was honoured with the Brother Dan Dineen Award of Distinction; ascended to the Fourth Degree and then Faithful Navigator of the Father Funcken Assembly. Inspired by his Christian attitude, Chris inaugurated several unique and innovative Council events that were regularly attended. We wish Brother Chis Pugh Godspeed and much success on his mission to the priesthood.
