Kitchener Knights of Columbus continues to support Catholic education. At the end of June, Council 1504 presented each of eight students with a $250 bursary. The student tribute is for attaining general overall proficiency and grade point average. At the St. Mary’s High School Graduation Night held at the Centre in the Square, four students each received their award from Grand Knight Dave Obermeyer. While at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School, Deputy Grand Knight Mike Szabo presented each of four students with their $250 bursary. For several years now, Council 1504 has been pleased to recognize those Secondary School students who display an elevated level of aptitude while obtaining their Catholic education.
