Kitchener Knights Support the Children’s Wish Foundation

The Kitchener and Area Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada was the recipient of a $3,500 donation from Council 1504. The Kitchener K of C supported this worthy cause with profits from their Annual memorial Golf Tournament September 7th, as golfers teed off at Foxwood Golf and Country Club. GK Mike Szabo, left, and DGK Hank Helmond presented host and local Children’s Wish Coordinator Anne Boehm with the cheque. The Foundation focusses on children between the ages of 3 and 17 years who are facing life threatening illnesses. The Kitchener and Area foundation grants a wish on an average of one every three weeks.
