During the month of October, several high-profile area events were well-represented by members of the Kitchener Knights of Columbus and supported by donations from Council 1504.
Beginning the month, on October 6 was the Pro-Life Dinner sponsored by University Council 16859, followed by the enjoyable Annual Sisters’ Octoberfest October 20. Two dinner events on October 27 were the Annual Bishop’s Dinner held in Port Elgin while invited clerics enjoyed the Clergy Steak Fry in Waterloo. During October, St. Anne’s Parish held its Annual Spaghetti Dinner while the month ended with the Annual Carmelite Fundraising Dinner on the 28th.
It was a remarkable month for giving as the Kitchener Knights of Columbus aided many in their special causes. Special recognition is due to several Brother Knights who represented Council 1504 as each occasion was well attended.
