Thinking of a bequest to the Kitchener Knights? Some aspects a donor might want to consider:
Bequests to the “Kitchener Knights of Columbus” are directed to Council’s general account. As a non-profit organization, funds from this account are used to either support Charitable events or are gifted to worthy community organizations and charities. Council 1504 is a non-profit, fraternal organization serving the community in supporting local Catholic Parishes and many local charities with fund raising and member engagement.
"Columbus Kitchener Co-operative Inc." (CKCI) facilitates and manages the assets and upkeep of "Columbus House", the "Jack Nolan Memorial Columbus Centre" and related properties. The corporation also manages and directs investments for the organization. CKCI, is an independent entity from Council, however, exclusively serves and supports the Kitchener Knights of Columbus. Your bequest, or portion thereof, directed to CKCI will be used to support, maintain and expand the properties, buildings or investment portfolio for the Kitchener Knights of Columbus.
Your consideration to a bequest may be to select either Kitchener Knights of Columbus or Columbus Kitchener Co-operative. A bequest may also, on the direction of the donor, be split in any desired manner.
Your generosity is most appreciated and will be optimized to your final wishes
