Beaming sunshine greeted 68 golfers competing in the annual Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament at Grand Valley Golf Club Saturday August 27. The top foursome honours went to Blair Witmer, Kevin Nichel, Geoff Luya and Dan Fehrenbach. Other winners included Karen MacMillen for the Ladies longest drive and closest to the pin; Men’s longest drive winner was Kevin Nichel and Men’s closest to the pin champ was Len Kropf. Cashing in on the 50/50 draw was Geoff Luya pocketing $580.00. The day was capped off with an excellent dinner and The Children’s Wish Foundation receiving a very generous donation from Council 1504.
Signing in K of C golfers are Brothers Fernando Melo and Gary Megaffin with each player receiving an Addidas Sport Bag and four golf balls.
